		<description>The world is full of surprises, and this election has had its share.  But with all due respect to Prof Amar, such a shared ticket is unthinkable.  The White House is made up of thousands of staff, who belong to a single chief executive.  There is much more to consider than two individual candidates who share a similar outlook.   

His idea reminds me of that brilliant New Yorker cover of them both reaching for the red phone at 3 AM.</description>
