HI Terry, thanks for the link. Unfortunately I got “flamed” by someone who suggested I was being cheap to avoid paying the entrance fee, and thereby not supporting the Rotary and its scholarships that, someday, perhaps, my children might wish to apply for. I was unable to write him back since he didn’t leave a way to do so, so want to say for the record that I’m happy to support any and all community events and causes (for example, at Project Troubador last night, we paid to get in rather than watch from outside the fence as so many did) - it’s just that in the case of the fireworks, my kids are scared witless by the noise!

No explinations needed. Anyone who knows you, knows how much yuou are involved in the community.
Don’t loose any sleep over it.
Keep up the good work.
ps…Did your flamer contribute to your Iron Man Marathon that ypou did to raise money for the Millerton Care Car?

Gee, now I’m starting to feel guilty about watching the fireworks from the top of Wells Hill at Bell Drive. A bunch of us parked up there and sat in our lawn chairs while our kids fed Mark Gomez’s horses. It was really a fun time and not so loud and hectic as being in the park. You’re right, Marshall, we all contribute to the community in our own ways.

Mais non, Marshall, not an Iron Man - I am SO FAR AWAY from being that strong! I did (barely!) a sprint triathlon - a 1/3 mile swim, 12 mile bike ride and 3 mile run - the shortest of all tri’s. An Iron Man is the longest - a 2.4 mile swim, 100 mile bike (or something like that) and 26 mile run!!! That I can never imagine doing in this life and this body! But thanks for thinking I could
