Of Screams and Cavalry Swords

February 21, 2007 on 5:08 pm | In Main, Oddball |

An old friend had the following to say about this story from the AP:

Oh, man. This is just way too funny. Starting with the town’s name that sounds like a scream (or moan) and proceeding with (unintended) jokes about extended swords. This is simply unbelievable.

Thanks, Tony. I’ve got to visit Oconomowoc. Sounds like my kind of place. Swords, screams and stupidity …

  1. It’s been awhile since I was at that military college in Vermont, but to the best of my recollection the lesson was this: Rattle the saber before you invade. Because what you think may be behind the door may not be what is actually behind the door.

Obviously this guy in Oconomowoc ( Which rhymes with potomac ) didn’t study military history…

  2. if that man was watching a pornographic movie loud enough for his neighbor to hear… shouldn’t he also be in some sort of trouble?

Just like when that man from schnectady was arested for watching an adult movie in his car, when other drivers could see and/or hear it from a distance.
