This certainly adds new meaning to the term ‘coach potato’.

I wonder how many people this resonates with in the Northwest Corner.
One really feels for this guy. It inspires one to be a more active member of a group — a community of faith or whatever — so that somebody cares enough about you to check on you every so often. You have to start paying your dues when you are a lot younger, though, I think.

It’s my guess that this is the only guy in the country with a legitimate excuse for being riveted to the egregious wall to wall cable news coverage of Anna Nicole Smith’s untimely demise.

Wow:
Could you imagine North East Utilities letting your electric bill go for one year?!!!
I wonder if he had cable, imagine Comcast letting the cable bill go one year?!!!!
I wonder what channel,he had on!!!
Maybe the cable networks can let us all know the answers to these questions and more!!!
Not!

My guess is that he had automatic payment set up for his bills. But what makes me wonder more is why didn’t his neighbors do anything when they saw his mail piling up; or why the postman didn’t do anything. It seems everyone has an excuse in this case.

even automatic payment… did he have all that money left over in his checking account that was not noticed by his next-of-kin?
Geez… One time I underpaid NYSEG by $7.50 and they said that they would shut off the juice if I didn’t pay.

I certainly hope the mummy returns to visit the neighbors who couldn’t be bothered to check, or the mailman.
I am starting work on the screenplay tonight.
