With Microsoft’s latest version of Windows, Vista, on the horizon there is hesitation in purchasing both a new computer and a new copy of Windows XP.

It has been leaked that Microsoft will offer coupons for purchasers of new machines/copies of Windows. The coupons will allow you to receive a copy of Vista when it comes out. Microsoft is not set to officially annouce this coupon until October so as not to hurt third quarter sales.

Vista is slated to come out in the first quarter of 2007 and is supposed to be the next big thing. Microsoft has pushed its release back several times already and has stripped features to prevent delaying it further.
